Wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay at Joval Homestay. Reggie met us with an exceptionally warm welcome. He gave us loads of recommendations and information about the island. The room was clean & comfortable. There is free water refill & coffee available, which is a nice touch. Breakfast can be ordered right next door for a very reasonable price. And they conviently bring it over and serve at the homestay. We ate there all 3 mornings! On check out Reggie kindly gave us a lift across town. Such a kind guy and great host - he makes the Homestay!

Fantastic host gave us good tips on what to do and organized a tour for us. Walkable distance to restaurants. We were able to rent a scooter. Room was basic but clean, airconditioning present

Highly recommended

The owner - Reggie is amazing. When i arrived, he sat me down and showed me everything: where to eat, what to do, where to visit, which tour… which is incredibly helpful. If you like to do island hopping, dont look elsewhere as Reggie has the best deal. He always makes sure that im comfortable. The location is good, only 7 mins walk to the center, hence its really quiet and chill. Close by to lots of shops and local restaurants

The facilities are basic but with that unbearable price, I wouldn’t ask for more.

How it should be

Reggie is the perfect host. He lives on the upper floor of the building and whenever you meet him in the common area he takes his time to have a chat and give many recommendations. He helped us to get the best out of our stay with only two nights. Whenever I come back to Coron I will book here again.

The homestay is walking distance to restaurants. There is a water refill station. The host Reggie is incredible. Reggie made us feel very at home, and provided us with amazing recommendations on Coron’s attractions.

The owner is very friendly and he goes out of his way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. It is also quite well located in a very filipino residential area.

Great place with an amazing host

Great location. Reggie is very very nice. I wish we would've stayed longer there. You can have breakfast at the restaurant right by the homestay for cheap.

Very good homestay

Reggie was a very good host and cared so much about us. He helped us organize anything. It was comparatively calm and the neighborhood was safe. Breakfast and laundry possible (right next door)

Nothing really - rooms were basic but that's no issue. AC was not louder than anywhere else we stayed.

one of our cleanest and nicest stays in the Philippines Rejjie was so nice and helped us plan the day and book a car to the airport

weren’t really sure on how to use the wifi but we didn’t ask Rejjie ask about it when you arrive

Everything was perfect for the price. Reggie is so nice and organizes everything so you just have to enjoy your staying at Coron. He gave us a lot of good advices. The room was very clean. The equipment are basic but you have the necessary. Highly recommended!

Great Experience, Awesome Host

Had a very good experience at Joval Homestay. Reggie the host was very helpful and always generous with his time to help with information. He recommended the Super Ultimate Tour which took and it was a tour I will never forget. I had problems with my bank card and couldn’t withdraw cash to pay but Reggie allowed me to stay for the first two nights without paying until I got myself sorted. Thank you Reggie and your family. Travelers, please choose this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Cosy, comfy and a great host!

Cosy, comfy place, I felt very at home and slept really well here! Reggie was a great host, super helpful answering all of my questions and providing great recommendations. I liked the terrace for relaxing and meeting people, too.

The water pressure on the shower was not the best and sometimes the WiFi disconnected but for the price I still think it's great value for money and would recommend a stay.

Such a lovely place️

Reggie is so friendly!!! He answered all my questions and also told everything about the town and recommended many nice place for eating! Thank you, Reggie, I will never forget you!️ Also I liked the location! It’s not a city-centre, but very close, and it’s quiet and clean-aired. I also enjoyed a hammock and a view from the terrace️ The room is small and ascetic, there are just beds inside and not enough outlets for everybody, it’s not a problem for me but I must tell about it in my review.

No toilet paper and no hot water (it wasn’t cold like from the fridge, but also it wasn’t really warm)

I loved staying at Joval Homestay! Quiet place, cozy room with air conditioning, cold and hot shower, tv, etc, at a good price! It is located next to the main restaurants (some minutes walking). Reggie (the owner) is the best! He provided all the info about our stay, about Coron and also the tours. And he helped us to arrange all we needed (transfer, tours, etc). I'm more than happy to have stayed at Joval Homestay, as everything was perfect! I definitelly recommend it!
